About the event
We're launching The Analog Table with a session we couldn't have scripted better if we tried.
2026 marks 200 years since the world's first permanent photograph was captured — and to mark it, the Dilip Piramal Art Gallery at NCPA is presenting Mänk'áčen, an expansive exhibition by Chilean artist, researcher, and curator Sergio Valenzuela-Escobedo. The exhibition brings together historical photographs, archival documents, museum and ethnographic collections, scientific reports, field notes, and other visual ephemera — an ambitious look at how the visual medium has evolved, and how photography has shaped the way we've recorded, remembered, and understood the world.
