About the Role
Overview
The Panchrome Project is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence and help shape the voice of one of India's growing analog photography platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that social media is more than creating posts - it's about building communities, telling stories, and creating meaningful engagement. You will work closely with our team to communicate everything from new film launches and workshops to educational content and community initiatives.

What You'll Work On
- Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, and other relevant platforms.
- Plan and manage content calendars for product launches, workshops, events, campaigns, and community initiatives.
- Write engaging captions, newsletters, blogs, and marketing copy aligned with The Panchrome Project's brand voice.
- Coordinate with photographers, designers, and the content team to create compelling visual and video content.
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and customer enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Monitor social media performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements based on insights and analytics.
- Stay informed about platform updates, digital trends, and emerging opportunities while maintaining Panchrome's authentic identity.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Google Gemini to support content planning, copywriting, research, ideation, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, business, or organisation.
Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
Strong organisational and project management abilities.
Ability to analyse social media insights and adapt strategies accordingly.
Comfortable using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Google Gemini to improve productivity and creativity.
Basic understanding of photography, creative industries, or visual storytelling is preferred.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar creative tools is an advantage.
